Sticky Date and Brown Butter Oatmeal

烹饪步骤(Preparation)
Step 1:炒香黄油
在小锅中加入黄油,开中火加热,持续搅拌(stirring occasionally),直至黄油起泡并逐渐呈浅金棕色(约2分钟)。注意:火候不宜过大,避免黄油焦糊。
Step 2:熬煮枣泥
加入椰枣块和½杯水,小火慢煮且不搅动(undisturbed over low heat),直至椰枣完全软化(约1-2分钟)。用木勺将枣肉压碎成细腻的枣泥(mash into a smooth paste)。
Step 3:煮制燕麦粥
倒入牛奶、燕麦片、香草精和肉桂粉(或豆蔻粉),搅拌均匀。转小火至微沸状态(gentle simmer),不时搅拌(stirring occasionally),直至燕麦软烂、粥体达到理想稠度(约4-6分钟)。若粥体过稠,可少量加水调整。
Step 4:装盘与调味
将燕麦粥分装至碗中,撒上少许粗海盐(提升风味层次),搭配新鲜水果切片,按需淋上重奶油即可。

用户1:Wow, what a treat! I prefer steel cut oats, so I added ½ cup of oats and increased almond milk to two cups. It does take longer to cook and more stirring, but I thought the result was worth it. I otherwise followed the recipe. Served my oatmeal with sliced banana and a sprinkle of slivered almonds.

用户3:To up the protein, I use dairy or soy milk to make my oatmeal and then I stir some plain protein powder into it after it's cooked. Haven't tried this recipe so you might need a bit more liquid - you want it a little soupy before you stir in the protein.
用户4:We usually make our oatmeal with one or two dates per serving, chopped up and added along with the oatmeal. We then slip a pat of butter on top at serving. Made this recipe exactly as written this morning, and it was not worth the extra effort. Truly, the combination of dates, oatmeal and butter is delicious, but the extra steps (and time!) are not necessary.
用户5:This is reigniting my love for oats, and at least one of my kids is a major fan. I love that it's just sweet enough with the dates. I think I like it best with coconut milk, and we use about half milk and half water in our house or it's too rich. The only problem is I have to meal prep it at night because I don't wake up early enough on weekdays! It's a good problem to have.
